Our Mission

Schools and Community Working Together to
Enhance Student Success

Our Vision

The purpose of the Foundation, a non-profit charitable community organization is 1) to solicit, manage and distribute funds and resources for the benefit of Mesa Public Schools and its students; 2) to further the development and welfare of children within the boundaries of Mesa Public Schools, through activities which are exclusively charitable, educational, or scientific or that otherwise qualify under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or corresponding provisions of any future United States Revenue Laws).

In Loving Memory of Gaye Kelley

It is with profound sadness that we share the news that we have lost a dear friend and our President, Gaye Kelley.  It was a great privilege to work alongside her.  Gaye was known and respected for her open and welcoming spirit, exceptional leadership, community engagement and championing the foundation’s efforts for the betterment of the students and faculty of Mesa Public School District.

Her family has generously requested that in lieu of flowers, donations are made to

Mesa Public Schools Foundation, 63 E. Main Street, Mesa Arizona.

Help Bridge the Digital Divide

At Mesa Public Schools we are committed to opening our schools safe, strong and ready. In compliance with Governor Doug Ducey's order, Mesa Public Schools will begin the 2020-21 school year online starting August 4th. Please consider making a donation here to help bridge the digital divide.

Dear MPSF Friend,

In preparation for a significant use technology when school re-opens, students, teachers and their families will need to obtain internet connectivity. We’re asking those who are able to support the Mesa Public Schools Foundation special initiative designed to meet the technoogy needs families are experiencing due to the pandemic.

With school campuses currently closed, Mesa Public Schools shifted to an entirely remote learning plan for 65,000 students. But that shift has highlighted a deep disparity in our community: a digital divide that limits technology and internet access. And that disparity is especially prominent in Mesa’s underserved areas.

While Mesa Public Schools has committed to distributing laptops  to many families, a significant gap remains for internet connection, depriving teachers of their ability to connect with their students.

Your donation of any amount will help bridge the digital divide for Mesa students particulary those who are at risk of falling behind their peers by connecting them with their classroom teachers. However, $150 will allow the foundation to purchase technology and internet connection for a household.

Thank you,
